Zoya Popović
Zoya Popović (Full Professor, IEEE Fellow) received her Dipl.Eng.
degree from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, Yugoslavia,
in 1985, and her Ph.D. from Caltech in 1990. She has
received a number of awards for research and teaching,
among them, the IEEE MTT Microwave Prize for the
best paper, NSF Presidential Faculty Fellow award signed
by President Clinton, ASEE/HP Terman award for combined
research and teaching, and the Eta Kappa Nu teacher
of the year award from her students. She has three children
and her husband-colleague is Prof. Dana Anderson in
the Physics Department and JILA.
